bey's in the trap! the trap being a poolhouse. this really makes me miss: my 'fro, summer and my tan. well, i think the tan is permanent, but nonetheless everything else has abandoned me.

though, i do have to say the bidding farewell summer makes me kinda stoked for christmas. if i could have it my way, we would have a hogwarts christmas year-round - complete with figgy pudding, butter beer and chocolate frogs. #potterazzi for life. for those who do not know what a hogwarts christmas entails, i have provided a visual below. isn't it magical?

Had two shoots back-to-back Saturday, we were literally running from one to the next, which ended in me forgetting some of my belongings at both studios :( Wore this on Sunday to do inventory & return all the merch - not a fun job, but someone's got to do it. Needless to say, absolutely cannot wait to see the final results! eeeeeeeep. xx

Mustard

sorry i've been a little MIA, blame mnfashion week & my annual Chicago shopping haul w/the besties. i feel especially bad since i've had numerous readers during my hiatus tell me how much they love reading this blog :( but not to worry, i'm back with full force y'all! 

amazing things happened (and were acquired) during my chicago trip -- including meeting the generously humble owner of akira chicago. if you do not already know who they are, you NEED to click on the link. i'll be updating the Secrets Fashion Agency blog about that experience alongside some visuals, so be sure to check that out. i'll leave you with what i wore to work today (sans the goth purple lipstick) and yes that is a pen in my hair - totally office appropriate, mind you. got this mustard skirt last winter on clearance, pretty much one of the best investment pieces ever since mustard is huge this fall. i added just the bare minimum when it came to accessories because sometimes all you need is a simple, clean silhouette and a classic accessory or two. xxo
