in staying true to my obsession of wearing baggy clothing, here i am wearing nothing that fits me. in terms of layering, my favorite thing to do as of late is to wear dresses over pants and just stopping short of looking hobo-esque. or maybe not.

changed up a basic uniform by adding a scarf and giving it the marc jacobs tie knot touch. kinda digging the way it works almost like a choker necklace.

this is my interpretation of bulking up: lots of thick layers. i've been religiously living in these jc's like nobody's business. an oldie but goodie, so versatile + so comfy. #winwinwin

so it turns out that consuming various types of alcohol (from wine to hot punch) is probably not a good idea before attempting to carve pumpkins. that's what happened last week and this sad attempt at a "glitter pumpkin" is the result. though, i don't know that choosing sobriety before carving would've helped the chances of this pumpkin looking any better than this.

bey's in the trap! the trap being a poolhouse. this really makes me miss: my 'fro, summer and my tan. well, i think the tan is permanent, but nonetheless everything else has abandoned me.

though, i do have to say the bidding farewell summer makes me kinda stoked for christmas. if i could have it my way, we would have a hogwarts christmas year-round - complete with figgy pudding, butter beer and chocolate frogs. #potterazzi for life. for those who do not know what a hogwarts christmas entails, i have provided a visual below. isn't it magical?

my old roomie pointed out that i am on my phone in every picture in this post. excuse my manners, this was not actually supposed to be a blogpost. michael was merely using me as an object to photograph while location-scouting for an actual photoshoot. apparently, when shot as a prop, i end up looking great. michael said it best, "i don't know how you managed to look so good in here." #witch

as i mentioned last week, i am now living in a poolhouse. sad thing is i really haven't gotten a chance to utilize the pool because minnesota weather is highly bipolar. it makes for a nice backdrop for outfit posts though. i really ought to start unpacking, mainly because i need to find a hairbrush - the 'fro is clearly getting outta control.

picked up this perfect little black dress at one of arrow's epic sales. due to the fact that it leaves little to the imagination, i man-repelled it by throwing on a flannel + booties.
