so it turns out that consuming various types of alcohol (from wine to hot punch) is probably not a good idea before attempting to carve pumpkins. that's what happened last week and this sad attempt at a "glitter pumpkin" is the result. though, i don't know that choosing sobriety before carving would've helped the chances of this pumpkin looking any better than this.

first off, just wanna give a shout-out to this pencil skirt that i bought almost a decade ago and fits me better today than it did then (as in, i can actually sit down without fear of busting the zipper open).

it's officially wedding season for me: i wore this ensemble to the first of four weddings i have to attend in the next couple months. turned out to be a great alternative to purchasing something new, because we all know i have neither the time to look or the funds for a new dress, much less four. for a prime reason why, consider: hoopty in the background. #youngbrokefabulous

i've been channeling my inner paris vogue editor a lot lately & put together another all-black-errthing ensemble. at work i paired it with tan booties & a skinny belt but switched it up with my old lavender nike's for a walk in the park with charlie. either way, #failsafe.

in relation to my wearing of two fashion labels with the last name 'wang', i originally wanted to title this post something along the lines of "wang on wang" "wang vs wang" or "black wangs" but i'm sure that would invite some unwanted visitors. on the other hand, it may have ended up getting the highest CTR (click thru rate) on any of my blogposts yet. needless to say, they would've been thoroughly disappointed to find nothing of that nature on here. :/ 

also, #dirtyhurrdontcurr. i'm a huge advocate of dry shampoo, currently using psssst! & i also really love lulu organics hair powder. what's your favorite?
