i'm annoyingly huge on quotes, the interpretation of dreams, spiritual stuff and this past weekend apparently - tarot cards. my tarot card reader? a gal holding a can of PBR at a house-warming party. this would normally be a recipe for hilarity and all things non-serious, but at the flip of each card came an explanation that read me like a book. and as generic and vague as it might've been, it told me everything i needed to know in two words: let go.

and who would i be if i didn't leave you with yet another quote? this time, from our childhood friend - winnie (da pooh).

how lucky i am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard?

those who know me best, know i have a slightly unhealthy obsession with all things harry potter. and though fashioning my life to the likes of a make-believe wizarding world is probably neither smart or realistic, i like to think i'm the girl who lived. and will continue to do so.

Since I can't do an outfit post (well, technically I could & then just cut out my face) because I got this done to my face at work on Friday, I thought I'd post up some things that I've been pinning (and pining over). PS. does anyone else hate the pinterest app for the ipad? *Cringe* at the cropping - which is why I usually have to resort to pulling out the laptop to pin efficiently (oh, the horror, right?). the daily

sorry for the sudden leave of absence. my colleagues (Secrets Fashion Agency) & i have been busy putting together the finishing touches to our fashion show. 3 weeks and counting. eeeeek. & we have also just returned from SXSW's first ever, Style X event, where we met some amazing designers, other entrepreneurs, fashion reporters/bloggers and oh yeah, the amazing chloe dao (project runway winner season two)! seriously though, they really do live up to their reputation down there, because it was nothing but southern hospitality 247. as soon as the craziness from the fashion show is over, i promise to post pics up from austin & a new outfit post.

the following: just some pics i've stored in my "i love u" folder on my itouch that i've been meaning to post & i hate to do this, but some of them are from months ago so i can't remember exactly where they came from. yikes. i hate not accrediting the approps. :( oh & some pics i stole from various ppl from tx.
