something new, something old, something borrowed

Received my new Canon 50 mm f/1.8 camera lens in the mail (and some other things I will unveil shortly) and I just couldn't wait to test them out; that would probably explain my fresh-out-of-the-shower hair. I'm wearing an old beaded vest I got in one of my one-day shopping excursions to Chicago with the bestie & a dress I borrowed from my cousin in Vegas and never quite returned. I'm totally loving how the quality of the photos just went up a couple notches, hope you liketh them as much as i do. PS. I didn't forget my pants today, I'm totally wearing short shorts underneath. :)

I get it from my Momma

Went in to see Marina at Moxie for a quick trim before work today - you can probably tell because my hair actually looks healthy. I'm getting my ombre touched up in a week, can't wait for the full transformation! I totally stole this moo-moo from my momther, it's perfect for a day like today: unbearably humid and muggy! Yuck. Anyhoot - I have some exciting new things that should be arriving in the mail shortly that I can't wait to unveil on here & utilize (my new camera lens). Thanks to Damaly for always answering all my super annoying SLR questions! :)
