sorry for the sudden leave of absence. my colleagues (Secrets Fashion Agency) & i have been busy putting together the finishing touches to our fashion show. 3 weeks and counting. eeeeek. & we have also just returned from SXSW's first ever, Style X event, where we met some amazing designers, other entrepreneurs, fashion reporters/bloggers and oh yeah, the amazing chloe dao (project runway winner season two)! seriously though, they really do live up to their reputation down there, because it was nothing but southern hospitality 247. as soon as the craziness from the fashion show is over, i promise to post pics up from austin & a new outfit post.

sometimes i just like to keep it simple & dress like a man. trousers, pleats, button-ups can be oh so fashionable (and comfortable). today's outfit was inspired by one of my SFA girls, Mel-- and no, she is not a man or manly in any type of way (lol), but she wore a pair of similar trousers to Friday's photoshoot and paired it with the perfect sheer button-up. thanks to my SFA girls for being a daily source of fashion inspiration. xxo

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! i've been a bad blogger, i know. :( quite ironic (alanis morrissette would probably agree) seeing as how i now have the essentials necessary to make consistent posts. :/

in celebration of st. valentine, the boyf & i perused the Walker Art Center while sipping soy chais, only to be told that a) drinks are not allowed in the galleries & b) in certain galleries, neither is my SLR.. all-around failures yesterday lol. anyhow, afterwards, we went home & got ready for dinner at Meritage, a cute little French restaurant, predominantly known for its' seafood. it was delish, but i'll let the pictures speak for themselves. most importantly though was the fact that this occasion was cause for, not one but TWO fabulous outfits. yaye. FYI: this post is going to be picture-heavy, it should make up for the 2 weeks i've lacked in posting, happy loading! xxo

i got my dolica tripod yesterday & finally got around to messing with it. still waiting for the other half of my amazon order (shutter release remote) ! cannot wait, it should be here tomorrow. anyway, been living in this over-sized cable knit sweater for the last week or so. recently acquired @the bloomies extra 50% off clearance sale (it was 9 dollars, hollar).
